Particle distance refers to the average distance between the points that make up a garment pattern, in other words, the size of the mesh.
The garment quality and simulation speed depend on the particle distance.
Generally set the particle distance to at least 20 mm when working on a garment or putting garments on an avatar for a faster working process, and set it under 5 mm to increase the garment’s quality after finishing the garment.
- 2D Pattern Window Properties → Simulation Properties → Particle Distance (mm)
Find and click the menu indicated in Location
Enter the desired value into the particle distance. (Enter a value between “1.0” and “700.0”)
