Create bonded qualities by adding partial physical properties to designated areas of a pattern.

Create bonded qualities to Pattern Unit. (ver MD6.5)

  • Property Editor (Internal Shapes / Pattern Only) → Bond/Skive → Bond

  1. Select an Internal Shape to apply a partial physical property to find and click the menu indicated in Location.
  2. Click the Bond checkbox to turn it on.
→ The selected Internal Shape will temporarily become a semi-transparent orange color in the 2D Pattern Window.
→ By default, the same physical property used for the overall pattern will be applied to the area of the selected Internal Shape - in other words, the same physical property is applied twice for the Internal Shape.
  3. Simulate.
→ The area of the Internal Shape will appear a bit stiffer, as if a fusible has been applied.

  4. The physical property Preset of the Internal Shape can be changed under Property Editor → Bond → Detail.
In addition to the physical property Presets, you can adjust individual properties in the Details section of the Bond function.
